Richard Phillip Mason

Richard Phillip Mason passed away on November 6, 2022 at McLaren St. Luke’s hospital in Maumee, Ohio. He was surrounded by his loved ones. Rich was born in Orange California. Shortly after graduating high school Rich enlisted in the United States Navy. While in the Navy fate brought him to Ohio one weekend. During that weekend he met his future wife Mary Lynn whom he would marry. After his service to the Navy he worked many jobs before finding his true calling as an accountant. A Californian through and through, Rich loved watching his LA Rams and SF Giants. Rich had 6 grandchildren who he loved to spoil. His big boys Marcelo “Quique”, Jonatan “Jonny” and Jose Ricardo and his princesses Daisy Lynn, Megan Lynn and Quinnlyn Anne.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Marion Vesey and father Alfred Mason.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Mary Lynn, his two daughters Megan (Jose) Martinez and Karen (Quinton) Creekmore, brother Ken (Debra) Mason, sister Beverly (David) Cangey and beloved cousin Gary McClure.

His family has chosen to celebrate his life privately at this time.
