Richard Allen Grime

Richard “Rick” Grime passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio and found peace joining his mother on May 30, 2021. Rick was the oldest child born to Linda and Richard “Dickie” Grime on May 15, 1971 in Toledo, Ohio. Rick graduated from Springfield High School and went on to explore the open road as a truck driver. Rick was an avid movie and music buff who regularly enjoyed the hair bands of the 80s in concert. His memory for random songs and quotes kept everyone chuckling. Rick loved his family and friends, especially his friend of many decades, Tammi. He doted on his nieces and nephews and loved his siblings. Rick tried to be the best sibling he could be, always helping in any way he could. Rick is survived by Michael Meisenheimer, brother Brian (Christi) Grime, sister Corey (Billy) Komon stepsister Bridget Reed, nieces Ava and Ella, nephews Colton and Jordan and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Linda (Bartlett) Meisenheimer and father Richard Grime, brother Christopher, and stepbrother Michael Meisenheimer. A Celebration of Rick’s life will take place June 26, 2021 from 4 pm – 6pm All attending are asked to wear their favorite 80s band paraphernalia to honor Rick’s love and enjoyment of music.
