Rhami Said, age 32, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on July 17th, 2024. Rhami was born on September 5th, 1991, to Bassam Said and Doris Cortland. Rhami brought joy and music into the lives of everyone he met. Rhami had a profound love for music, whether it was singing, making beats, or simply enjoying the melodies. His sense of humor and his love for joking around made him a beloved figure among friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Ma'lynnda Cortland and Marla Cortland; grandparents, Louise and Roosevelt Thomas; uncle, Bobby Thomas, and aunt Diane Wiggins.
Rhami is survived by his devoted mother, Doris Cortland; brothers, Alton (Niecey) Thomas and Morreece (Briana) Cortland II, and a host of nieces, cousins, and nephews.
Rhami's vibrant spirit and his passion for music will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of joy, humor, and creativity will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
A celebration of Rhami's life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 1:00-4:00 pm, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1825 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. Friends and family are invited to share memories and pay their respects.
