Raymond I. Walsh

Raymond I. Walsh, a longtime resident of Lake Wilson in Hillsdale, MI, passed away at Flower Hospital in Sylvania on Monday, October 13, 2008. Ray was born in Chicago, IL on November 24, 1933 to Raymond and Irene Walsh. A veteran of the US Army, he worked as a sales manager for PrestoLite for many years before retiring in 1998. Ray built his home on Lake Wilson where he spent many wonderful years. Rays neighbors, family and friends will miss seeing him on the lake in his pontoon boat on a warm day, smiling and waving as he went by. Ray is survived by his life companion, Norma Burr; children, Kathy (Greg) Bisque, Raymond (Lisa) Walsh, Penny Hovey, and Tricia (Greg) Smith; grandchildren, Steve (Christina), Adam, Katelyn, Jessica, Gianna, Eva, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Makenna and Lochlan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to the Cremation Society of Toledo.
