Raymond C. Stanley

Raymond C. Stanley, 74, of Toledo passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at home after a brave battle with Brain Cancer. He was a beloved father to Ray (Deborah) and Peggy (Ron) Keaton, cherished grandfather to Stacy (Jeremiah), Ron (Cindy), Megan, Ray, and Sean, loving Bop Bop to Abbi, Katalin, Ty, RJ, Ali, JJ, Winnie, Josh, and canine Sassy, dearest brother to Rosemarie (Harold) Ball, and loving boyfriend to Dee. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends to cherish his memory. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Martha, wife Marge, daughter Cindy and son Joey.Raymond worked for Toledo Stamping. He was hired as a production worker and retired as a Human Resources Manager in 1991. After retiring Raymond set out for a new challenge and joined Toledo Hearing and Speech as an Audio Metric Technician for their HearWatch program. In his leisure Raymond enjoyed riding his Harley with all his great friends. Raymond also enjoyed serving as a Patriot Guard Rider (PGR), assisting families, welcoming home soldiers, escorting honor flights and standing guard for fallen soldiers funerals. Raymond was also a Past Master of Masonic Lodge Boaz 669, member of The Zenobia Shrine and The Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.Funeral services will be private per Raymonds request. The family would like to thank Dee for her loving care, The Hospice of Northwest Ohio, and his nurse Kristy for all of their comfort and care.
