Randy Faylor

Randy Earl Faylor, 65, died in his Lake Township home on August 18, 2021. He was born in Toledo Ohio, the son of Carl Faylor and Carolyn (Puckett) on February 12, 1956. He is survived by his father, Carl (Gerri) Faylor; two children, Christopher (Sarah) Faylor and Carrie Faylor; brothers, Mike (Sandy) Faylor and Mark (Diane) Faylor; sister, Marianne Tussing; sister-in-law, Jeanette Faylor; 5 grandchildren, Ashanti, Emmanuel, Caleb, Evan, Hannah; one “special” grandchild, Emma, all who were his world; two nephews, Andrew and Isaac; and one niece, Ruthie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Danny) Pawlicki and brother, Carl “Rick” Faylor. Randy was a longtime member of Outings Unlimited in Point Place and a Gold Circle member at the Toledo Zoo. He started and ran a successful shrink wrap business, Toledo Shrink Wrap, and worked at many area marinas doing various tasks like fixing boat propellers and building docks. He got his start at his family-owned business, Erie Propeller, on Summit Street in Erie, Michigan working alongside of his stepfather, Jerry Pearsall. “Handy Randy”, as he was affectionately called by many, will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank his many friends in Point Place and Walbridge area and those from the Pioneer Inn who came and aided Randy in his last months.
