Ralph (Andy) Andrew Vidak was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Toledo, Ohio. Ralph suddenly passed just after Mother's Day, early morning on May 13th, 2024. He just turned 39 years old in April.
Ralph was lost, as many of us are, but he left a strong impression in the hearts of those who knew him. It was easy to love him. He was a loving and caring son, brother, and friend to many people. Most of all, he was a loving and caring father. Ralph would have done anything and everything for his child. The sweet, kind, and funny Ralph that everyone knew and loved reflects heavily in his son, Andrew.
While nothing compares to his love for his son, his love for nature was profound. He went camping often with his family and loved spending time outside. He was lucky enough to help build a beautiful cabin on his grandfather's property in the Upper Peninsula, a little piece of what many consider paradise.
Ralph is survived by his son, Andrew Vidak; mother and stepfather, Gayle and Bobby Delker; siblings, Tommy Vidak, Bruce (Nicole) Vidak, Mindy (Chris) Pait, Joe (Cassey) Vidak, and Katlin Delker; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for friends and family at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Luna Pier Baptist Church, 4265 Luna Pier Rd., Luna Pier, Michigan, 48157. Contributions are suggested to help the family cover the cost of cremation and services through https://gofund.me/86939631
