Priscilla Bell

Priscilla Bell, age 61, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away in her home on January 13, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1964, in Jackson Mississippi, the daughter of Doretha and Preston Sparkman.

Priscilla attended and graduated from Cody High School in Detroit, Michigan, and continued her education at U of D, earning a degree in nursing. Priscilla began her career as a nurse before moving to Ohio, where she later worked at General Motors.

She was a loving mother to Patrick Gardner and a wife to John D. Bell.

Priscillas hobbies included shopping and traveling, as she loved to explore different cities and what they had to offer.

Left to cherish her memory include her mother, Doretha Sparkman; brother, Preston Sparkman; son, Patrick Gardner. She is proceeded in death by her husband, John D. Bell; her father, Preston Sparkman; and her sister, Peggy Sparkman.

I missed you the day you left. I missed you yesterday. I will miss you tomorrow. I will miss you the rest of my life. . . Until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 3:00-7:00 pm at the UAW Annex Hall, 2120 Baltimore Street, Defiance, Ohio 43515.
