Paula Jean Medsker

Paula Jean (Sieracki) Medsker, 60 died in her home surrounded by her loving family on January 9, 2017. She was born on August 20, 1956 to Leonard Joseph Sieracki and Vera (Wurbia) Sieracki. She was married to Thomas E. Medsker in Chicago on August 15, 1976 and moved to the Toledo, Ohio area in 1979. Paula was a legal assistant, business administrator and an IT project manager. Most of her career was with Owens Corning, Toledo, OH and La-Z-Boy, Monroe, MI. Paula attended the University of Illinois majoring in music. She played string bass, flute and piano. Paula enjoyed cooking, fine dining, travel, and time with her family. Paula is survived by her husband and children Elizabeth Ann Medsker and Katherine Marie Medsker as well as her stepson Sean Ryan Medsker, his wife Anne Medsker and step granddaughter Novalee Medsker. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother Leonard John Sieracki. The immediate family has planned a very small gathering to scatter Paulas ashes within the next week.
