Paul Scott Williams

October 5, 1956 — January 26, 2021

Paul Scott Williams, 64, from Holland, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children, on January 26, 2021 after a battle against pancreatic cancer. Paul was born in Buffalo, New York in 1956 and moved to Toledo in the 1980s. He was the life of the party and was known for being goofy. During his younger years he lived life to the fullest, enjoying ice hockey, boating, water skiing, and golf outings. He was a rabid Buffalo Bills fan until The Ohio State Buckeyes stole his heart. Every Saturday during the fall, you knew where to find him. He was always someone that was willing to put themselves out there for a giggle and he will be remembered as the person who could make you laugh until you cry if the moment were just right. Paul attended the State University of New York (SUNY) Brockport and later started his own environmental management company in Toledo. The past decade has been one filled with many trials and time after time, Paul refused to give up. We are glad he is finally at peace and he will be remembered as a loving son, brother, dad, friend and “Grampy.” He is preceded in death by his loving nephew, Max DiPalma and his former wife, Marianne McLoughlin. Surviving family members include parents, Margaret (Peg) and Frederick Williams; siblings, David (Mala) Williams and Cindy Williams; daughter, Christina Williams Snyder (Chad); son, Sean Williams and four beautiful grandchildren, Braxton and Bentley Williams and Tess and Liv Snyder. Due to COVID-19, no memorial gathering is scheduled. A celebration of life might take place at a future date once health restrictions are lifted and we can safely gather. In the meantime, please share funny stories, memories, photos, and condolences here.
