Paul E. Owczarzak, 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Paul was born on November 8, 1944 to the late Loretta and Emil Owczarzak. Paul retired from The Andersons in 2015. He was the proud father of his children and an ornery trickster of his grandchildren. He was an avid nascar fan and always rooted for Notre Dame. Paul was known in the neighborhood as one of “the garage people” along with his close friend, Gibby. If you needed someone to play devil’s advocate, he was your man. He made the best milkshakes, french fries and sloppy joes. There wasn’t a joke he didn’t know and would help deliver the punch line. His laughter was infectious and will be missed. Paul sadly leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Kathy; children, James (Karen Lipscomb) Owczarzak; Dawn (Dan Herrin) McCoy; grandchildren, Crystal (Michael) Weiler; Scott (Courtney) VanderHorst; Courtney (Chase) Ferguson; Dakota McCoy; 6 beautiful great-grandchildren; brother, John (Terry) Owczarzak; sister, Lois (Dan) Geiner, along with many extended family members and a few close friends. He was preceded in death by his brother; Carl Owczarzak. Paul was reunited with his fishing buddy and daughter, Brenda, whom he missed dearly. No Services are being held at this time. “The key to true immortality, is to never be forgotten.”
