b. June 5, 1924

Paul W. Kiser, 84, of Fremont, died Saturday morning at St. Lukes Hospital in Maumee. He was born in Fremont on June 5, 1924 to Walter Webb & Helen Elizabeth (Sprout) Kiser. Paul was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School in 1942 then enlisted into the U.S. Army and served his country in the South Pacific during World War II. On September 30, 1950, Paul married Anna Rose Lotycz at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Anna died on March 15, 2002. Paul worked as a Tool and Die Supervisor at Whirlpool for over 28 years; until his retirement in 1984. Paul was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a generous man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap shooting and boating. Paul loved boating so much, that he built his own 22 foot cabin cruiser. He also built his home that he currently lived in. Paul loved his dogs, in which he trained to hunt with him. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; he will be truly missed. Paul is survived by children, Marlon (Wendy) Kiser of Waterville, Jerome (Nancy) Kiser of Tiffin, Marcia Kiser of Fremont and John (Mary) Kiser of Fremont, nine grandchildren, Monica, Erica. Greg, and Matthew Kiser, Paul and Emily Kiser, Stephanie and Jennifer Kiser, and Chaz Price. Two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Olivia Price. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, wife Anna Rose, sister Lucy Egan and a grandson Jason Kiser.Memorials in Pauls name may be made to The Alzheimers Association, the Sandusky County Humane Society or Donors Choice.
