Patti Jo Sperling

Patti Jo Sperling (Cover), 61 years old of Liberty Center, OH, passed away on August 12, 2022 surrounded by her children. Patti was born on December 10, 1960 in Dixon, IL to the loving parents of Eugene Cover and Patricia Madden. She attended Dixon High School and later Pike-Delta-York High School in Delta, OH. Patti was a loving stay at home mother whose greatest passion was being around her children and grandchildren. She loved attending family and social events and will be best remembered for her humor, compassion and infectious smile. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness for all to remember and live by, and will continue to be loved and missed by so many. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Schutheis; children, Nicole (Mike) McClure and Zac (Erika) Sperling both of Liberty Center, OH; siblings, Duane (Michelle) Cover, Christine (Jim) Whitson, Kimberly Cover, Stephen, Mitch, Dean, Lynn and Lee Schultheis, Charles MacRunnels, Linda (Russ) Monson, Shelby (Galen) Boyd, James (Colleen) MacRunnels, Cindy (Steve) Bonnell, Phil (Tillie) MacRunnels, and Dwayne (Lisa) MacRunnels; grandchildren, Darin, Delaena, Derica, Zuriah, Zander, Abby, Scarlett and Julianna; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Eugene and Julia Cover. Her children will hold a Celebration of Life Ceremony on September 17 at 8206 County Road T Liberty Center, OH 43532 at 2 pm. All are welcome. Patti’s cremated remains will be interred at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon, IL at a later date.
