Patsy L. Jacobs

Patsy Lucille Jacobs passed away into the presence of her Lord and Savior on January 29, 2022. Born in Toledo on June 14, 1949 to Floyd and Lucille Arthur. Patsy attended Whitmer High School, graduating in 1967. While there, Patsy met the love of her life, Leonard E Jacobs, whom she married on August 9, 1969. They raised 3 children together and fostered many infants through Lutheran Social Services. Patsy worked as a switchboard operator for Baker Brothers in Toledo. She was an active member of The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, where she sang with the choir. Among her many hobbies, Patsy loved to sew. Her specialty for her family and friends were sleep pants, pillow cases, and the softest fleece blankets! She also enjoyed reading, working a crossword puzzle, and watching the Cleveland Indians play. Aside from spending time with her many animals, Patsy’s favorite thing was spending time with her family and they were her world. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard and grandson, Tyler. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeffrey (Renee) Jacobs; daughters, Tamara (Roy), Bethany (Ryan) Werstein; sister, Lynn (Ron) Wells; grandchildren, Alexandria Jacobs, Marissa (Izik) Jacobs, Nathan (Amber) Jacobs, Austin (Emily) Jacobs, Caleb Werstein, Analysia Lopez; great-granddaughter, Harlie Corre-Jacobs; niece/goddaughter, Becki (Paul) Krasniewski; nephew, Brad (Mariah) Wells and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Services will be held at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 2820 W Alexis Rd., Toledo, Ohio on February 18, 2022. We will greet friends and family beginning at noon with the service to start at 1 pm with burial to follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to make a donation are asked to do so in Patsy's name to The Lutheran Church of Our Savior.
