Patrick Phillip Wallace, age 72, of Toledo, OH passed away on August 17, 2020 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice. Patrick was born on March 17, 1948 to the late Melvin and Eleanor (Adamczak) Wallace. He graduated from the University of Toledo and began working at Champion Spark Plug, where he became a union representative. Patrick worked his way up to an education representative for the International Union, UAW. Patrick was a member of the American Legion in Holland, OH and a University of Toledo Alumni Member. He was also an avid outdoorsman. Patrick often shared his love of camping, fishing and boating with his family. He was an excellent golfer and taught his children to love the sport as well. In his later years, he loved going out to eat, socializing with other patrons and making friends with the staff; he was a regular at many places. Patrick was an outgoing man. Everyone who met him, loved his charismatic personality. He was often very generous and would do anything for his family and friends. Patrick is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Curtis) Hall and his beloved granddaughter, Imagine. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Todd Wallace. We are grateful for the excellent care he received at Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Ebeid Center. We are also grateful for the ongoing support and kindness from his dear friend, Ronda. She is a gem and obviously a great friend. A Celebration of Patrick’s Life will be held at the American Legion in Holland, OH on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Noon. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Toledo Area Humane Society for his love of dogs, especially his precious Roxy.
