Patrick S. Maloney

Patrick S. Maloney, age 75, passed away peacefully in his home in Blissfield, MI, on January 24, 2026.

Patrick was born on September 9, 1950, in Sturgis, MI. He lived a life filled with curiosity and creativity and was often praised for his out of the box thinking. He was a machinist for the City of Toledo and retired in 1997. He loved spending time in his garage, tinkering and building hot rods and motorcycles, and could often be found attending car shows and sharing stories with fellow enthusiasts. Beyond engines and tools, Patrick enjoyed ice skating, dancing and drawing-activities that reflected his joy for movement and creativity.

Above all, Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family and was always there to lend a helping hand. Whether fixing something, offering advice, or simply showing up when you needed a shoulder to cry on, he was someone his children and grandchildren could always count on.

He is survived by his children, Amber Teague, Karen (Blaine) Taylor, and Sean Maloney; his grandchildren, Kaylee (Emilio) Ramirez, Emily Hackler, and Ian Teague; and his great-grandchildren, Camille, Arrmanii, and Xavier. Patrick will be remembered for his hands-on spirit, his love of building things from scratch, and the time he shared with those he loved. He leaves behind many memories that will continue to be cherished by his family and friends.

A private memorial will be held in the spring.
