Patricia Shope

Patricia M Shope, age 77 passed away on April 11, 2023, at home in Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by family after a brief battle with lung cancer. She was born September 13, 1945 to Alfred and Dorothea Reilly.Pat graduated from Whitmer High School in 1963.

Pat worked a few jobs starting with being a dispatcher for Sentinel Trucking.

She raised her 3 children bartending for The Toledo Police Patrolman Association. When they closed she went to work for ABC movers which is where she retired from.

After a short time in retirement her daughter Deb put her back to work slinging drinks at the Maumee BG Elks Lodge 1850 until 2020.

Pat was an AMAZING mother grandma and great grandma. She was also the Best Greenwood Knights Granny. Attending all activities for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

You could always find her during sport seasons on the Knights field.

Her greatest joy was watching kids play and participate in sports.

Pat was a #1 Buckeye Fan! She only watched the games at home so she could yell at the television.

Pat is survived by her children, Donna (Dale)Watt, Deb Simon (Lee Bush) David (Stephanie) Main. Grandchildren, Robert Nicholas, Brandi Simon, Keagan Steese, Cierra Main, David Main, Shannon Bush. Great grandchildren, Toney, Trinity, Trey and Tyton.

Pat had many people in her life through the years she considered family. She was the neighborhood mom,grandma and Granny. She loved you all. Jesse Morales and Jackie Campos ❤️

Pat was proceeded in death by both of her parents. Her sister Sandra Jones, brother-in-law Roger Jones and Grandson Michael Simon.

A celebration of life will be held April 22 from 12 till 3 at the Zenobia Shriners Hall 8048 Broadstone Blvd. Perrysburg Ohio 43551.
