Patricia Peterson

November 28, 1948 — December 10, 2021

Patricia (Anderson) Peterson, 73, passed away on December 10, 2021 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio facility in Toledo Ohio. Pat was born November 28, 1948 in Aberdeen Scotland. Pat attended primary and secondary schools, followed by commercial college, in Aberdeen Scotland. Before meeting and marrying her husband Frances (Pete) Peterson, Pat worked at A&J Robertson Granite Merchants in Aberdeen Scotland. After moving to the United States Pat worked at Fiske Refining company in Toledo. After Pat and Pete welcomed Heather, their daughter into the world, Pat then took on her most important job as mother and homemaker. This was no easy task, as Pete was away for months at a time in the Submarine Service. Pat did everything, from being mom, yardworker, plumber, etc. Through Heather and her classmates in school, Pat and a group of moms met and formed a group who met monthly to play Bunko. They also had nights out for birthday dinners, and general support each other get togethers. This group became the Bunko Babes, Pat an original member. Over thirty years later this group of friends still help each other and made Pat's last year and a half easier for her with moral support and many visits to Pat at home. Pat was also an "adopted mom" to many of Heather's friends. She was loved by many of these "daughter's" and friends. Surviving are Frances (Pete) Peterson her husband, Heather Hart their daughter, Robert Anderson her brother, and the apple of her eye, Blair Hart her granddaughter. Preceding her in death were her parents Emily Smith Grant-Smith Symon Anderson and James Anderson who will welcome her home now. In lieu of flowers it is suggested that donations may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, who have provided assistance for the past twenty months with Pat's care.
