Patrice A. Wisbon

Patrice Annette Wisbon (née Woodie), 73, of Toledo, OH, passed away on July 3, 2024. Born on March 3, 1951, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of the late Gladys E. and William B. Woodie.

Patrice graduated from Start High School in 1969 and attended the University of Toledo. Her career spanned 25 years at Owens Corning as an inside sales representative, a role that relocated her to Folly Beach, SC, for 15 years. She later contributed her skills to Charleston County DAODAS before retiring.

Known for her kind, caring, and giving personality, Patrice was always ready to lend a hand. Her sense of humor and infectious laugh left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Patrice had a passion for traveling, cooking—famously her moussaka—visiting estate sales, browsing garage sales, and sewing. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Salem Wisbon (Corey Johnson); grandson, Eli Wisbon; sisters, Denise Dunwald (Herman) and Beverly Henderson (John); partner, Don Pyles; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patrice’s name to The American Cancer Society.
