Pamela K. Powell

Pamela K. Powell, 59, of Toledo Ohio, passed away on June 4th, 2024, after heart failure. She was born on May 13th, 1965, to Kay and Ronald Baird in Toledo Ohio.

Pam graduated from Whitmer High School in 1982, afterwards she went on to study geology at the university of Toledo. She then went to the University of Michigan where she studied theatre and costume design, before switching to education in the field of medicine.

Pam furthered her education at Mercy College where she got her LPN. She worked as an LPN, kickstarting over 20 years of being a home care nurse. She continued her education and in 2011 graduated with a bachelor’s associate degree in science and nursing, as well as getting room care certification. She was a valued addition to her team at Compass's home care, she will be greatly missed.

Pam was married from 2007-2010 to Charlie Powell who presided her. She was stepmother to Charlie Powell Jr, Meg Powell, and Chris Powell.

Pam loved to collect different types of rocks and gems, as well as care for dogs and horses. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Kay and Ronald Baird. She had no siblings or children. She is survived by her god children, Ahmad and Kyle Atallah.

Ahmad and Kyle would like to express their gratitude to Pam for taking them and their mother into her house in their time of need. She provided for the three of us as a parent would, and the love she gave will be missed and cherished.
