Pamala A. (Martin) Janas, passed away at St. Charles Hospital on September 15, 2026. She led a gallant fight against cancer, but too many things were not in her favor.
She was born in 1955 to Walter and Anna Mae Martin. She graduated from Harriet Whitney High School and worked at Heck Printing where she met her husband, Jim. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona to enjoy the weather and be close to her daughter.
While in Phoenix, she worked for Albertson's for 20 years before retiring. She recently moved back to Toledo to be close to all her family here, for support and encouragement. She enjoyed crafts, all kinds of puzzles and of course her doggies.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of over 35 years, Jim. Her sister, Debbi Martin; daughter, Teresa (Brian) Tuttle; niece, Stephany (Richard) Rohloff; nephews, Rob (Kelly) and Tyler (Rachel) Ferguson; 3 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Laura Burchette and Lee Ann (Tom) Thorp; brother-in-law, Paul (Nicole) Janas; and fur babies, Lady, Rocko, Tilly, and Zoe.
The family would like to thank all of the pulmonary and ER staff at St. Charles Hospital for all of their help. Arrangements made through the Cremation Society of Toledo.
Services will be private, and Internment will be at Lake Township Cemetery with her parents.
Those wishing to donate in Pam's memory are asked to consider the Humane Society of Toledo.
