It is with much sadness that Pam's family announces that she left this life to join our Lord on July 26, 2026, in Flower Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 85.

Born on November 5, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, the second child of Barbara (Felker) and Peter Francis Whalen III. She attended Ladyfield Elementary and graduated from Whitmer High School in 1958. She retired from Toledo Hospital after 25 years where she worked in clerical and secretarial roles, including in the surgery department Jobst Vascular Center. 

It was in college where she met her husband, Bill. They were married on January 25, 1964, and spent 57 fantastic years at each other's side. This union blessed them with two sons, Bud and Jeff. Her love for her family was boundless. She never missed a sporting event, school function or any other occasion important to her boys. 

She loved getting together with friends to play golf and cards. She also enjoyed fishing, knitting and making jewelry. But most of all, she loved the many years she spent with Bill and her kids living in the country. Pam was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, and great-grandma. She is survived by her sons Bud (Jackie) and Jeff (Theresa), grandkids AJ, Zachy, Michael (Julie) and Aaron (Katie) and 7 great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents and brother Peter Francis Whalen IV.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral. A tribute to her life will be scheduled at a later date.

The family would like to offer their immense gratitude and thanks to the nursing staff at Flower Hospital and Otterbein Sunset Village of Sylvania for their kindness, support, and care over the past months.
