December 24, 1946 — July 12, 2020

Otto Theophilus Collier Jr, “The Candy Man” born in Detroit Michigan, passed away in his Toledo home at the age of 73 years, on morning of July 12, 2020. Husband of Maria, who he met in November 2015 and married in the Philippines on October 25th, 2016. Dear son of Otto and Mary Collier. Beloved brother of Patricia Steverson and Herman (Vera) Collier.  Cherished Father to Sonya Collier, Aleah Flores (Paul), Damon Collier and Brian Collier (Marcela.  A host of Grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. After Otto graduated from Wayne State University, with his bachelor’s degree, he had a lifelong career in Sales. He was a very generous man and enjoyed making other people happy. He liked having family and friends around him and he was a popular gregarious man.  He had a great sense of humor. Otto enjoyed cooking; no one could make a better burger than his “Otto Burger.” Otto loved playing ping pong, pool and performing magic tricks. He was also known for having the latest electronic gadgets and was a computer whiz. He provided endless advice and was an inspiration too many folks. He always shared his words of wisdom with others and spoke his mind. Otto will be deeply missed by many.
