Norman Lee Gingrich, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on September 7, 2023. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 27, 1952, the son of Thomas Donald Gingrich and Pearl Louise (Baumgartner) Waskaski. Norman retired from Libbey Glass in 2013, and in his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and canning.
Left to cherish Norman’s memory include his wife, of 51 years, Paula Rose (Brown) Gingrich; children, Thomas (Brandy) Gingrich, Junill (Gingrich Williamson) Ringling, Rick (Peggy Ann) Gingrich Sr., Norman D. Gingrich; grandsons, Charles (Cora) Williamson Jr., Rick Gingrich Jr.; granddaughters, Sylvia Parish, Heaven (Gingrich) Flowers, Angel Gingrich, Brianna (Gingrich) Flowers, Harley Gingrich, Faith (Gingrich) Flowers, Kloe Gingrich; great-grandson, Ryan Jacob Williamson; one sister, Christine (Chester) Reynolds; brothers-in-law, George (Evelyn) Brown, James (Carrol) Brown, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Norman was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Louise (Baumgartner) Waskaski; father, Thomas Donald Gingrich; brother, Robert Thomas Gingrich; parent-in-laws, George Andrew, and Alice Marie (Morgan) Brown; son-in-law, Joseph Ross Ringling, Jr.; one grandson, Ryan Warren Williamson.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on September 16, 2023, starting at 1:00pm, at Hidden Lake Trailer Park - Recreation Room, 6400 S. Dixie Hwy, Erie, Michigan.
Arrangements have been entrusted by Cremation Society of Toledo, in Holland, Ohio.
