Noreen Skip Destazio

Noreen “Skip” DeStazio, 73, of Perrysburg, Ohio, was quietly called to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was born December 28, 1937, in Kenton Ohio to the late Mark and Kate Wooley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Breidenbach. She cherished family get-togethers and holidays that brought her family together to enjoy memories of times gone by. She enjoyed her life, was fond of ceramics, and telling stories, always with her family at the center of her world. Noreen is survived by a daughter, Anna (DeStazio) McLaughlin, of Roanoke, VA.; a son in law Clinton McLaughlin and three cherished grandchildren, Timothy, Brittney, and Veronika McLaughlin as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Noreen was retired from Cooper Tire in Bowling Green, Ohio. She worked many years for Sherwin-Williams in Kenton and Toledo. Many prayers, thanks and appreciation to the staff of Toledo Regency Hospital. She will be missed more than all the stars in the sky. To honor Noreen and her Irish heritage a celebration of Noreens life will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church (Walbridge, Ohio) on March 19, 2011 at 11am.
