Nicoletta Henderson

Nicoletta “Nikki” Cellura Henderson, age 75, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 16, 2022 at Majestic Care of Toledo surrounded by her loving family. Nikki was born June 19, 1947 in the Province of Ferrara, Italy to Carlo and Antonietta (Romagnoli) Cellura. She arrived in this country on August 20, 1955 at the age of 9 on the ship, S S Conte Biancamano, with her mom and two sisters. Nikki retired from Oregon Meijer’s and very much enjoyed her job as a greeter. Nikki was a caring person to those she loved and everyone she met. She had a zest for life and was a loving and beautiful soul. Her first and deepest love was being around her family especially during the holidays by hosting a multitude of parties and helping continue the tradition of making raviolis. She loved playing bingo at the Oregon Senior Center and enjoyed learning and playing many new card games at her residence at Luther Hills. Her nails were always beautifully manicured and she took great pride in caring for them. In addition to her parents, Nikki is also preceded in death by her infant children Anthony and Tina Null; fiancé Errold Culler; sister, Rita Cellura; grandson, Mark James Null; and great-nephew, Lukas Vanloan. She will be greatly missed by her son, Branden Cellura, and fiancé Mary Brown; sister, Cosetta Cosy Duvall, and partner, Jack Warren; brother, Carlo Cellura; daughter in law, Dawn Courtaway, two daughters, by Mary Brown; Amber Holmes and Allison Bell, two nieces, Jennifer Duvall and Mary Kayser, two grandchildren, Barbara Pilmore and Heather Null, two great-nieces, six great-nephews, three great-grandchildren, and her therapy cats, Mina and Jessica who helped her emotionally after her fiancé passed away A special thanks goes out to the staff at Majestic Care of Toledo, Bay Park Community Hospital, and Toledo Hospital for not only caring for her but also making her a friend to them. At Nikki’s wishes, she is to be cremated. Arraignments were made through the Cremation Society of Toledo. There will be no formal funeral held. An afterlife celebration in her honor will be held at a later date. Nikki supported many charities, therefore, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity in her name.
