Nancy M. Wymer

Nancy Melinda Wymer, age 73, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Saturday, July 18th, 2026. She was born February 24th, 1953 in Toledo, OH to Al and Jane (Martin) Wymer. She graduated from Swanton High School class of 1971.

Nancy spent her life finding ways to give back to her community and care for the people around her. As a young adult, she served as a Bluebird and Campfire girl leader for her little sister's troop. Later, she spent many years serving and caring for others as an employee at Loma Linda's and the Kold Keg. When her partner, Ron Blankenship, lost his vision and joined the blind community, Nancy stepped up to serve as a driver for the Toledo Blind Outreach, a position she kept long after Ron's death as a way to honor his memory. At Grace Community Church, where Nancy was a member, she did volunteer work for the children's program for as long as she was able. Even in her final years, Nancy found ways to give back to her community. At her apartment complex, she loved setting up the community table, decorating it on theme each holiday, for her neighbors to enjoy.

Nancy loved spending time with friends and family, but by far her greatest joy was children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always up for adventures like making rock candy, making ice cream in coffee cans, playing musical chairs, hosting slumber parties, having tea parties, feeding the ducks, banging on pots and pans to celebrate the new year, and singing silly songs.

Nancy will be deeply missed by so many family and friends. She loved the Lord and treasured her time spent learning and growing at Grace Church. She loved deeply and ferociously. She cherished company and always wanted to be surrounded by the people she loved. She loved her family more than anything else on this earth.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tim (Brittney) Stultz, Lisa (Andrew) Nelson, Jane (Dorean) Waters, Krista (Ronnie) Hendricks, Jason Stultz, Sarah (Larry) Martin, David Connin, Sean (Jennifer) Griewahn, and Bridgette Siwajek; siblings, David (Lynne) Wymer, Chuck (Brenda) Wymer, Marty (Robin) Wymer, and Micki (Kevin) Rybicki; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her significant other, Ronald Blankenship; parents, Al and Jane Wymer; and sister, Pam Lawniczak.

Family and friends may join us on Wednesday, July 22nd, for a visitation at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am at Grace Global Methodist Church, 601 East Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
