Nadine P. Holtz, age 78, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Orchard Villa Nursing Home in Oregon, Ohio.

Nadine was born February 12, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio to Harold and Mary Angela (Eckel) Holtz, who both proceed her in death.

She was a 1965 Graduate of Notre Dame Academy. Following graduation, Nadine attended Mercy School of Nursing where she obtained her practical nursing license. Her nursing career was spent at Mercy Hospital until their closure. Followed by St. Charles Hospital and various nursing homes and doctors' offices in Toledo until her retirement.

Nadine was a long-time parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, where she was a dedicated volunteer serving at times as a parish nurse, working Lenten fish frys, spring rummage sales, and tending to the church garden.

Her generosity extended to offering neighbors rides to appointments and helping family out where she could.

Nadine had many talents from sewing to gardening. She loved reading and art, and she especially enjoyed visiting the Toledo Zoo.

She is survived by three first cousins; Diane Moore, Janice Jackson, and Douglas Wilhelm and many second cousins.

There will be a Mass on Saturday April 17, 2026, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church 4555 N. Haven Toledo, Ohio
