Nadine Sue Decker passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on May 29, 2025, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Rossford, Ohio. Born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 15, 1940, to the late Edna Fay “Middaugh” and Michael Andryc.
She attended Whitney Vocational High School beginning her career as a beautician, then employed and retired from Jeep Corp 2001.
Nadine was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She always had a keen sense of humor putting a smile on many faces lighting up the room. She enjoyed playing golf snow birding in Florida after retirement for ten years. During the summer you could always find her on the golf course every weekend with the family. Nadine enjoyed listening to music, dancing and being the life of the party. Every Friday she drove her Jeep Liberty to the “ugly” shop while having fun with Bob making her beautiful. She lived in her cozy yellow house on the court for nearly sixty years making memories with many long-time neighbor friends who will miss her dearly, especially Jody.
Nadine will be greatly missed by her loving sons, Scott (Beth) Wilson and Kevin (Amy) Wilson, brother Mike (Vicky) Andryc, grandchildren Brandon (Ashley), Amanda, Makenzie (Jon), Kayla and 7 great grandchildren. She was also loved by bonus grandchildren, Scott, Matthew and Brittney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twin son Keith, late husband’s Donald Wilson and Harvey and great grandson Rex.
Nadine lived her life as a very spiritual woman reading her bible verses and daily devotionals. Her wish was to not have a formal visitation. The family will plan a celebration of life to be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 2820 Alexis Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43613, in Nadine’s memory.
A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, care givers and firefighter paramedics she met these past several months.
