Mylinda "Lindy" Bookenberger

Mylinda “Lindy” (Bayer) Bookenberger of Perrysburg, OH, passed away on August 22, 2021 at her home. Lindy was born on August 30, 1958 at Mercy Hospital in Toledo to George Bayer and Betty (Junge) DuPre’. She married Terry Bookenberger on March 25, 1976 in Monroe, MI. Lindy graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1976. She worked as a nail tech, and also worked at The Lion Store. Lindy enjoyed her gardening, cooking, and was a great collector of Disney items. Along with her husband Terry, Lindy is survived by her son, Jamie (Randi) Bookenberger; mother, Betty DuPre’; brother, Mike (Gayle) Bayer; sisters, Kathy (Gary) Timman, Karen (Jim) Hobson, and Jackie Bayer, and grandson, George Bookenberger of Alaska. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Jr., and father, George Bayer. Per Lindy’s wish, there will not be a service. The family requests that donations be made to The Wood County Humane Society.
