Morris W. Barley, 84, of Waterville, Ohio died at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Xenia, Ohio, and grew up in Oakwood, a Dayton suburb. After graduating from Oakwood High School, he was hired as a stock and mail clerk at GMAC, Dayton. He moved through the levels, often transferring to another city for the new job. When he was GMAC accounting manager in Akron, he was given the opportunity to work in GMACs new data processing center in Dayton. When EDS became a wholly owned subsidiary of GM, Morris became part of the EDS data processing organization. Later in Detroit, he managed a group of senior systems analysts. He retired in Dayton in 1993 after 41 years of service. Morris and his wife came to this area after their son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren moved here for a job opportunity. He is survived by his wife, Jan, children, Sandra (Daniel Coston) and Dean (Kathleen Barley) and grandchildren Ian and Maura Barley.
