Michaelena Marie Griffey

Michaelena (Mickey) Griffey, 47, of Toledo passed away on May 22, 2021 peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Mickey was born on September 29, 1973 in Toledo, OH to Karen and Michael Carr. Mickey loved being around others and always put others before herself, she had a heart of gold. She enjoyed being active and outside. She loved to entertain anywhere from cookouts, bonfires, parties, playing baseball and soccer with her grandson Zane, to just having a few beers and watching her Ohio State Buckeyes football! She cherished every moment she spent with her daughter, Whitney and grandson, Zane. From the smiles to laughs that created tears -everyday with them was a good day. She is survived by (daughter) Whitney Griffey & (grandson) Zane Pressley; (son) Eban Magrum; (mother) Karen Sneed; (sisters) Renee Carr-Ziemkiewicz & Patti Sneed-Rohm; (brothers) Billy Sneed & David Sneed; (Michael Carr) Muhammed Meekael Proceeded in death by (dad) Walter Sneed; (grandparents) Erma & Howard Johnson; (grandparents) Anna & John Carr A celebration of life will be held for family and friends to attend at a later date.
