Michael Eugene Zoltanski

Michael E. Zoltanski passed from this world surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the age of 60. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 4, 1949 to Sylvester and Ruth (Rominski) Zoltanski, who still survive. He later married Colleen Ryan, who has been his best friend and wife of 39 years, on October 18, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio. She survives in Toledo.Mr. Zoltanski spent 12 and a half years faithfully serving in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He lived a good life and had many friends and some good friendships. If you asked him he would tell you that he accomplished some good things and screwed up a few but through it all he had his one true love, Colleen, by his side in spite of all his quirks and mistakes. All he hoped for in life is to have had a good impact on the lives of his two wonderful children.Other survivors include his children, Michael (Chelle) Jr. and Jennifer Zoltanski, both of Toledo; grandchildren, Seth, Taylor, Landyn, and Tonia all at home; brothers and sister, John (Erin) Zoltanski, Tom (Nina) Zoltanski, and Debbie (Tom) McDonnell, all of Missouri. Also surviving are special in-laws, Jame and Jeanne Chengges of Maumee and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law and their families. He is also survived by his, “spoiled brat,” dog, Lexi.A memorial mass will be said on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10am with Father William Rose officiating.
