Michael J. Kallil

Michael J. Kallil, age 69, passed away October 21, 2021 of complications from COPD and COVID-19. Born November 15, 1951 in Toledo, Oh., he was just weeks short of his 70th birthday. A character unlike any other, Mike had no shortage of life-long friendships. Those who saw through his tough exterior knew him as fiercely loyal, dependable and a firecracker through and though. He enjoyed golfing, fixing up cars, playing pool and cooking, always offering food within minutes each time someone walked in the door. He was generous and could often be found scouring estate sales for hidden treasures to share. He had a big heart and truly loved taking care of those important to him. He will be deeply missed. Mike is survived by Sue Okuley, who spent over 20 years by his side; step-children Dennis (Michelle) and James Okuley, Julie (Andy) Wagner and Barbara Okuley; sisters Darlene (Roy) Cole and Cheryl McClusky; brother George Kallil; and sister-in-law Chelsea Kallil. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Rose Kallil; sisters Georgia and Tina; his beloved brother Donny and brother-in-law Dan McClusky.
