Michael A. Grim

Michael Allen Grim was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin on March 20, 1967. He passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on April 25, 2026. His first car ride was in a '65 Mustang, thus fostering his interest and passion for anything automotive. He honed his mechanical skills at an early age working on his bicycle, and developed an affinity for painting. His first car was a '73 Chevy Vega that he painted before receiving any formal training. Later, his instructors in the auto body program at Waite High School told us he was a natural. He spent his lifetime wrenching on cars and doing most any kind of body work. He also loved motorcycles and boats, even owning a hovercraft for a while.

Mike is survived by his parents, Nada and Harold Grim; brother, Jayme; daughter, Melisa; and step-daughter, Amanda Pacer, as well as grandchildren Davy, Julian, Skylar and Nova.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful, caring staff of Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center for the amazing care he received in the Intensive Care and Palliative Care units. We would also like to recognize the exceptional staff at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Detroit Avenue Center.

In addition, we would like to express our gratitude to Pastor Vickie Rankins-Anderson for her spiritual guidance throughout Mike's transition.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 am at New Hope Christian Church, 2457 Holloway Road, Holland, Ohio 43528. Interment will be private.
