Michael Dangler

Michael Dangler, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at his Toledo home on June 5, 2021, after a courageous battle with heart disease. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Hilker Sr.; his dad, Richard Dangler; mother, Sondra Dangler; sister, Anita Ross; and brother Christopher Hilker. Mike’s primary occupation was welder/fabricator. He enjoyed sports and was a hardcore University of Michigan fan. He had the biggest heart and loved meeting people and forming lasting friendships. Mike followed the Jimmy V philosophy that everyone needs to laugh, think, and cry each day. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and soulmate, Tracey Keaton-Dangler; daughter, Lauryn Dangler; son, Logan Dangler; and stepson Louis Keaton (Rita); father-in-law, Terry Spross; mother-in-law, Phyllis Spross; three sisters, Jennifer Blakeman (Robert); Angel Benoit (Josh); Candace Pitman (David); two brothers, Scott Dangler (Donna); Bill Hilker Jr. (Erica); brother-in-law, James “Monte” Spross (Kelly); and numerous other family members and friends, as well as his beloved cat Raindrop.
