Michael Roni Crandall, 50, passed away on January 26, 2022 after a 10 month battle with cancer. Mike was born on February 1,1971 in Gibson City, Illinois. Mike grew up in Rantoul, Illinois where he graduated from Ramsey High School. In 2001, Mike moved to Michigan to be with the love of his life, Kris Zbikowski. Even though he was a Michigander for 20 years, he stayed loyal to the Cubs and the Bears. Mike worked at Sears Hardware and also pursued his passion for tinkering by starting a business building tattoo machines by hand. Being a Cubs fan, Mike was very happy they won a World Series during his lifetime. Mike also had a love for food and enjoyed watching the Food Network and he especially loved grilling. He loved listening to music while working in his shop on tattoo machines. He loved all of his animals, but Roxie was his favorite dog (who was waiting to greet him when he got to Heaven). Mike also had a lifelong interest in professional wrestling and was able to attend a live wrestling match. Some of his favorite evenings consisted of going to the movie theater and eating dinner at one of his favorite restaurants. Mike was preceded in death by his father, David Crandall. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Crandall; his son, Bradley Crandall; his sisters, Lori (Mike) Moss and Linda (Darrell) Kurtz, and granddaughter (Adrienne), as well as the love of his life, Kris Zbikowski; and family, Alison (Chris) Miller, Lauren (Alex) Miller, Mandi (Dan) Zelko, Max Żbikowski, and Harper Miller.
