Michael “Mike” William Brown- 58 of Lambertville, Michigan- passed away peacefully Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Hospice of NWO.
Born May 19, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio. Mike was the son of William and Charlotte Brown. He attended McKinley Elementary and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1982. For over 25 years Mike worked for Lucas County Educational Service Center as the Head Building Operator doing anything and everything he was asked to do.
Although he loved his job, his true passion was Motorcycles. His first motorcycle was a Honda Goldwing and eventually upgraded to his dream bike, a Harley. Mike’s happy place was riding his bike and sharing that adventure with family and friends. He took this passion and love and became a Licensed Motorcycle Safety Instructor for the State of Ohio and Toledo Harley Davidson to help teach others motorcycle safety for over 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Brown. Children; Megan Brown (Tyler Clare) and Michael Brown. Granddaughter; Kennedi Clare. Brothers; Russell (Wendy) Brown, Stephen (Lindsey) Brown, Zachary Brown. Sister; Trish (John) Benedict. Also, Jon (Kathleen) Canty, Todd Vanderpol, Heather Vanderpol and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Charlotte Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Prince of Peace Church (Ida, MI) on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, with a gathering from 1-2pm with prayer service beginning at 2pm and luncheon to follow.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Hospice of NWO and DaVita Dialysis at Flower Hospital for the amazing care they provided Mike while he was under their care. Those wishing to donate in Mike’s memory are asked to consider Hospice of NWO, National Motorcycle Safety Fund, or donor’s choice.
