Maynard Dean Hershberger

Maynard Dean “Hershey” Hershberger, age 78, of Millbury, Ohio formerly of Portage, Michigan passed away at Bay Park Hospital Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born March 30, 1943, in Wooster, Ohio, to the late Roman and Marie (Stutzman) Hershberger. Maynard was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Hershberger in 2012; his son Scott Hershberger;grandson Tyler Hershberger; brothers Larry and Samuel Hershberger; and sister Debbie Neuenschwander. He is survived by his fiancée, Sheila Williams; sons, Stewart (Catherine) Hershberger and Spencer (Trina) Hershberger; grandchildren Matt, Amanda, Stacie, Haleigh, Kindsay, and Haylin; and many great grandchildren. Hershey loved people and he loved his job as a truck driver. Trucking was also his favorite hobby and he was able to do that for 59 years. The family would like to invite those who knew Hershey to a celebration of life that will begin at 11am, service at noon, and a meal to follow Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at Millbury Fireman’s Hall, 28410 Oak St., Millbury, Ohio, 43447.
