Matthew "Matt" W. Benz

Matthew “Matt” William Benz, age 60, of Toledo Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Matt loved his career in metal recycling, which lasted 40 years. He enjoyed feeding the homeless and helping those in need. He was a kind and caring soul and will be sadly missed by all those that knew him.

Matt leaves behind his mother, Violet Warner; sister, Marie Benz; and girlfriend, Tina Kramer. He is preceded in death by his father, William Benz; grandparents, Karl and Gladys Benz.

No services have been scheduled at this time. The Cremation Society of Toledo has been entrusted with all arrangements.
