Mary H. Young

Mary H. Young “Hard Core”, age 74, of Oregon, OH passed away on September 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl Zacharias, and Evelyn Carroll; brothers, Robert Zacharias, and Michael Zacharias; and sister, Emajean Bartram. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert L. Young; son, Robert L. Young Jr.; daughter, Ruth A. Romero; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She attended Oakdale Elementary School and Waite High School. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Per Mary’s request there will not be any services held. A Celebration of Life will be held October 8, 2022, from 2-6 pm at Oregon Fire Station #3, 4421 Bayshore Road Oregon, OH 43616. All are welcome.

We would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Detroit Ave., Bay Park Hospital, and the Cremation Society of Toledo.
