MARY SUE SPIESS1/3/1935 9/19/2011Mary Sue “Susie” Spiess passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at the age of 76. She was a lifelong resident of Toledo. A graduate of DeVilbiss High School, she went on to earn her B.A. degree from Ohio University before embarking on a long career in television. Sue was proud of the 33 wonderful years she spent with WTVG Channel 13 and enjoyed telling stories about the celebrities and TV personalities she met. Sue had many interests, including reading, art, music, animals, and Africa. Sue will be greatly missed by friends Rosemary, Ron, Cindy, Connie, Bob, and the “Venturas Gang”. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Toledo. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Sues memory may be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
