Mary M. Perkins

Our dear mother Mary Magadeine Perkins passed away on November 6, 2022, age 83 at University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born in Canton, Ohio to Elizabeth Newton and James Reeves and moved to Toledo, Ohio with her mother Elizabeth as a small child, where she lived until her death.

Mary was a graduate of Scott High School and Macomber Whitmer Vocational School. She had a diverse and interesting career at Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Continental Security. She had two children, and one grandchild.

Mary was predeceased by her mother and father, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Duff Andrews, beloved husband Cecil Perkins, first husband Roger McMorris, brothers Charles Bryant, Jerome Jackson and Henry Bryant of Toledo, Ohio,  aunts Mattie (Frank) Cobb of Canton Ohio, Katie Ellen Jackson, of Toledo Ohio, Uncle Charles Burke Andrews, Canton, Ohio, and Catherine (Charles) Roberts of Riverside, California.

Mary is survived by her son James Reeves, daughter Rogena Avery, grandson Anthony Avery, sister Marian Franklin of Toledo Ohio, sisters-in-laws Deborah Jackson and Beverley Bryant of Toledo, Ohio, stepson Cecil Perkins Jr. and stepdaughter Marva Perkins, of Atlanta, Georgia; she had 12 nephews, 3 nieces, numerous cousins, family, friends and staff of the Franciscan Care Center that loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held for family and friends at a later to celebrate her life.
