Mary Lou Halbert

Mary Lou Halbert, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2025, at Blue Creek Healthcare, in Whitehouse, Ohio, where she resided for over 30 years. She loved the Lord, family, gospel music, her bird Jazz, playing bingo, shopping and other activities offered by Blue Creek. She developed many friendships and was a blessing to everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Halbert, parents Earl and Margaret Chambers and her son in law at heart, Ernest (Baby Huey) Hensley. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Hensley, sons Thomas (Lynette) Oliver and Timothy Oliver, stepsons John Halbert, Roy Halbert and Jeff Halbert. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We would like to thank the staff and residents of Blue Creek Health Care, formerly Whitehouse Country Manor, for their care, compassion and friendships developed over the years. We would also like to thank Residential Hospice for the great care they provided in her final days with us.

Services will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Rossford United Methodist Church, 270 Dixie Hwy, Rossford, OH 43460, with Pastor Deb Helton officiating. She will be laid to rest on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Highland Memory Gardens, 8308 S River Rd. Waterville, OH 43566.
