Mary Louise Larzelere

b. March 9, 1932

On November 19, 2017 Mary Louise Larzelere went to be with the Lord following a short illness. Mary was born March 9, 1932 to Edgar and Ethel Bigelow and is survived by her six children; Bob (Renee), Denise (Wayne), Larry (Nancy), Barry (Carolyn), Cindy (S. Kelly Burghardt) and Gary (Shannon), 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren whom she loved greatly. She is also survived by her dear sister, Jean (Paul) and brothers, Bob (Anne) and Jim, sisters in law, Kitty and Elinor and brothers in law, Don and Chuck. She was preceded in death by Keith, her husband of 64 years; parents; sisters, Ethel and Shirley, brother, Bill and brother in law, Gene. Marys primary gift was service to others. She put most of her energy into her husband, children and grandchildren; however, she served in many areas within the church as her faith was very important to her. Most people who knew Mary would say she was “always on the go” and she loved to dance. She never performed anything slowly and was a perfectionist with many talents, including sewing and crocheting. The family would like to thank all of Marys caregivers at Ebeid Hospice, The Toledo Hospital, Kingston Sylvania and Aspen Grove Temperance as well as the many visitors and prayer warriors. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. followed immediately by a memorial service and luncheon at the United Methodist Church, Petersburg, MI. The family requests donations be made to The United Methodist Church (Petersburg) or ProMedica Ebeid Hospice (Sylvania) in lieu of flowers. Online condolences may be shared with the family at toledocremation.com.
