Mary O. Karcher

Mary O. Karcher, 78, passed away on November 4, 2024, in Toledo, Ohio. Born on December 20, 1945, Mary was a cherished figure among her family and friends, known for her loving and nurturing nature.

Mary devoted many years of her life to the Napoleon Truck Stop, where she worked from 1989 until her passing in 2024. Her commitment to her work paralleled her dedication to her family, making her a respected and beloved member of her community.

Mary leaves behind a loving family: son, Troy Karcher; daughters, Tina (Chris) Fant, and Gina (Robb) Scofield; brothers, Charles (Rosemary) Bayless and Mark Bayless; and sister, Virginia (Alan) Minton. She was a proud grandmother to Scott (Ashley) Gray, Tyler (Samantha) Gray, Jacob (Olivia) Ward, Christian Karcher, Joseph Daniels, Talecia Karcher, Brittany Retcher and great-grandmother to many. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bayless; mother, Dorothy Dewitt/Fronk; husband, Norman Karcher; son, Adam Karcher; sister, Kathleen Etchen; grandsons, Cody Ward and Cory Karcher; niece, Susan Lindeman; nephews, Dicky and Tom Lindeman.

Mary will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at a later date.
