Mary E Jackson

Mary Elizabeth Jackson, 89, of Toledo passed peacefully in her sleep Monday, March 25, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg.She was born March 31, 1923 in Fountain Inn, SC to Cuyler and Agatha Dodd.She served as a WAVE hospital apprentice taking care of wounded sailors at Bethesda Naval Hospital during WWII. She retired from Libbey Glass in 1983.Left to cherish her memory is son, Michael, of Toledo, and daughter, Patricia (Neil) Huston of Woodstock, GA, and special friends the McIntire and Wainscott families.The family extends deepest thanks to Dr Robert Axonovitz and his staff for their many years of care and to the caregivers at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg.Per her wishes there will be no services.
