Mary Czyzewski

Mary Czyzewski, age 86, of Holland, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 29, 1931 to Elko and Rose Pohoricki. Mary treasured her membership and service at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Daughters of Mary, the St. Francis Guild and Salesians of Toledo. “She was devoted to working in customer service and was a member of UFCW Local Union 75.” Mary enjoyed spending time with her friends, going to lunch, playing bingo, and going to the casinos with her husband.” She cherished spending time with her family. Mary had an infectious laugh and smile that brightened up every room she entered.” Her sense of humor known as Maryisms, were sure to make everyone around her fill with laughter.” She was truly loved and will be missed beyond measure. Mary is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Frank whom she was married to for 66 years” along with her 5 children, Terry, Mike, Tom, Mark (DeLisa) and Ann (Don) and her 2 grandchildren, Ashley & Tyler (Melissa) and great granddaughter, Lydia.” Also surviving are her siblings, Jenny, Delores, Lucy and Steve.” In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Chad; and siblings, Mike, Paul, Angie, Hank, Marty, Ted and Violet. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6135 Hill Avenue, Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
