Mary E. Arthur

July 12, 1956 — August 23, 2021

Mary Ellen Arthur of Holland, OH passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 65. She was born to Harry Gramza and Joanne Gramza on July 12, 1956 in Toledo, OH. Mary married Randy Arthur in 1986. Together they raised two sons and one daughter. They also had five stepchildren between the both of them. Mary loved being a mother and enjoyed watching the children grow up. She pursued a career in data entry working for medical billing at several companies, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Mary loved hosting family gatherings, and especially enjoyed the holidays. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she would go all out on decorating the house and baking. Her homemade buckeyes were legendary. She always went way out to make sure everyone had a joyous Christmas. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol Wiktorowski, and brother Harry Gramza. She is survived by her husband Randy, her sister Joyce (John) Weithman, Jeriann Gramza, and brother Richard Wiktorowski. Mary is also survived by her children: Chris Dazell, Bryan Dazell, Matthew Arthur, Kerianne Arthur, Brandon Arthur, Jenny (Steve) Frybarger and Lee (Kaleena) Arthur. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her daughter Kerianne often said that Mary was a rock in times of trouble. She was always always there for anyone in their time of need, and went out of her way for people whenever she could. Rest in peace my sweet angel. We will always love you. I'll remember you as long as there's a morning, cause you where like the sunshine. That brightens everyday. I'll remember you as long as there's a meadow. How you liked the meadow where we used to run. And when the evening comes I'll miss you more than ever. Your head upon my pillow, beside me in the night. You won't let me forget you. You're all I see and do, until my life is thru. I'll remember you.
