Martha A. Schmude

Martha Ann (Moore) Schmude, passed away quietly at her daughters home on June 12, 2016 after a brief illness at the age of 75. She was born in Toledo, Ohio. She went to St. Charles School and attended Whitney Vocational School where she studied cosmetology and became a licensed beautician. After raising her children, she started her own cleaning service and considered her clients among her dearest friends. Martha was an extraordinary gardener, loved to sew, and had a passion for cooking, baking and eating. She is survived by, and will be forever missed by her children, Kimberly Schmude, Linda (Dan) Stiff, Michael Schmude, and Laura (Bill Twitchell) Schmude; sister, Joanne Moore; grandchildren, Ryan and Julianne Stiff, Sara and Michael Schmude, and Marisa Aburidi; former spouse, Donald Schmude, and family friend, Mary Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Moore, Ladonna and Steve Osowski; brothers, Riley Moore, John Moore; sister, Kathleen Lindeman, and grandson, Brendan Stiff. A memorial mass will be at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1842 Airport Highway, Toledo, OH, on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 am.
